Explore the streets for upgrades and face the darkness, but return home to save and level up. Danger grows with every step away from safety—plan carefully and watch your Gloometer! Master four unique ways to fight: deploy your boombox to distract the shadows, leaving them rooted in place while you make your escape, blind them with your camera’s high-intensity flash, or launch powerful fireworks to blast the Gloom-Walkers into oblivion. How far will you go to save Buddy?

- Objective: Reach the bottom-right corner of the map for the final showdown and rescue your dog.
- Your Home: Located in the top-left corner. Return here to upgrade your stats and heal yourself by drinking found potions.
- Survival Tip: Don't venture too far from home until you've grown powerful enough; the outskirts are unforgiving.
- Scavenge: Explore city buildings to find superior slingshots and powerful "spells" (items).
- Tactical Combat: Every action on the battlefield takes time. Once an action starts, it cannot be canceled until it’s finished—plan your moves wisely!
